It was hard to cut the lining perfectly straight with scissors too. It’s very important for the cut to be perfectly straight so the tie would not look bumpy. If I ever decide to make a tie again (which is HIGHLY unlikely) I will get a rotary blade. (0)

Then, I cut the fabric & lining… The fabric stretches like crazy!! It stretches at least 25% of its intended length! (0)

As an experiment, I decided to TRY making a matching tie. I’d heard how hard it is to make a tie, since the whole thing would be cut diagonally. (0)

Given the difficult time I was having in finding the fabric I wanted, D & I decided that we would visit the fabric stores in NOVA for the one last time. We decided that if we don’t find the fabric I so So desire this time, we would settle. (0)
